Course Updates!
The cart paths on holes 2-4 are now open! We will now be working on back filling the edges for a complete product. The sod on the new tee boxes has been laid and now we wait for the sod to take root.
The Avondale Golf Club Foundation Veterans Tribute Project is coming along! Bricks will now begin to be laid as we wait for the new flag pole. Its not to late to purchase a brick for a Veteran! The ceremonial flag raising is scheduled for Saturday, May 23rd at 8:15 AM.
We would like to again remind golfers about keeping golf carts 30 feet from greens and tees. Some of the areas that should never see golf cart traffic are anywhere near the green on #8, to the right of #9 green, to the right of #11 green, to the right of #12 tee, and up #14 hillside. We kindly ask that all golfers respect this guideline to help the grounds crew maintain our grounds. Please see picture below of a traffic pattern that is developing to the right of #9 green tee.
Now that we are getting into the summer months, tee sheets now open at 6:30 am 14 days out! The first tee time during the month of May, Tuesday-Sunday, is 8 AM. Mondays remain at 9 AM.
Stay tuned for our first weekend "Grass Range" day. We will be utilizing the grass range deck Saturday and Sundays!
