Welcome to the 2026 season at Avondale Golf Club!
With the latest snowfall and windstorm deterring our initial plans, we know everyone is eager to get back out on the course and we’re right there with you! We cant wait to welcome everyone to the first tee tomorrow!
2025 was an incredible year at Avondale. We saw strong participation, continued course improvements, and great engagement from our membership. The momentum we built last season has us excited for what’s ahead in 2026.
Our goal remains the same: to deliver an exceptional experience from the moment you book your tee time to the time you finish your round. Our maintenance team has been hard at work throughout the offseason preparing the course, and you can expect great playing conditions as we kick things off.
Throughout the season, you can also look forward to a variety of events, leagues, and instructional opportunities designed to create a fun and engaging atmosphere for golfers of all levels.
In addition, as we get started, we wanted to send a few important reminders about our tee time and course policies:
Tee Time Reservations
Members: May book tee times 14 days in advance
Non-Members: May book tee times 7 days in advance
Each member may book up to two consecutive tee times. The booking member is responsible for filling these spots.
No-Show Policy
Both members and non-members are held to the strict no-show policy approved by the Board of Directors last year. If you are unable to make your tee time, please cancel it in advance so other golfers have the opportunity to play.
Check in Process
A member of your group must check in with the golf shop at least 15 minutes before your tee time. Failure to check in may result in your tee time being given to a waiting group.
Tee Time Reminders – Noteefy
We utilize a tee time reminder system called Noteefy, which will send reminders before your scheduled time. When you receive these messages, please take a moment to respond by selecting Yes, Cancel, or Edit so we know your plans.
Waitlist Feature
Noteefy also offers a tee time waitlist feature. If the tee time you are looking for is unavailable, you can join the waitlist and Noteefy will notify you if a time becomes available. You can find this in the bottom left side of our webpage titled "Noteefy Tee Time Assistant." We encourage all members to take advantage of this feature.
Guest Policy
Guests of members may play twice per month at the discount rate of $90 + cart per round. This year guests will be asked to sign in to the golf shop and once a guest uses both of their guest rounds, their rate will increase to the full non-member rate of $130 + cart.
Member Tee Time Windows & Pace of Play Adjustments
Last fall, our Golf Committee reviewed statistics regarding our member-only tee times on Friday through Sunday before noon. After reviewing the data, we have decided to keep these member-only windows the same.
However, to help improve pace of play and maximize availability, we will be utilizing 8-minute tee time intervals on Wednesdays until noon and on Friday–Sunday during the member-only tee time windows. Outside of these periods, tee times will operate on 10-minute intervals.
A reminder that our pace of play standard is 4 hours and 15 minutes. It is important to note, that completing your round in under 4:15 does not necessarily mean your group is keeping proper pace. All groups are expected to keep pace with the group in front of them. If you are off track, please know you will be approached by our friendly staff and kindly asked to catch up to the group in front of you.
Course and Golf Cart Etiquette
All members and guests are expected to use the 90 degree rule when exiting golf cart paths. Carts are to remain at least 30 feet from ALL greens and tees at all times. Our grounds crew works hard to maintain the golf course and by following these guidelines you are helping do your part!
