Course Policy RemindersThe common course policy to maintain distance for safety and to avoid damaging the playing surfaces is 30 feet from all greens and tees. Many golf courses adhere to this guideline. Elaboration: Safety: Keeping carts a safe distance from the greens and tees helps prevent accidents, especially with multiple golfers and carts in the area. Course Damage: Excessive weight and movement of carts on the green surrounds and tees can damage the grass and cause un-needed wear and tear. Course-Specific Rules: While not a universal USGA rule, many golf courses enforce this 30-foot distance to maintain the integrity of the playing surfaces and ensure a safe playing experience for everyone.
The bunker contractors have been and are working on our bunkers. We would like to take this time to remind you to please play the bunkers under construction as Ground Under Repair. Please do not play from these areas to avoid damage. It is very important that the new sod takes root in these areas before we can add sand. We appreciate your understanding! Your cooperation will help speed up the entire process. |
