# Design System — HMS

> Read from HMS's public website (hms.com) by Clinical Terminal. Not reviewed by HMS.
> Use it as inspiration: borrow the ideas, not HMS's name, logo or identity.

## Ground
- **Light ground** (#F5F5F5), from HMS's site background #F5F5F5. Pages and panels sit on it.
- Main text: #111111 (17.32:1 on the ground).
- Secondary text is #111111 at 88% / 76% / 60%; hairlines and plate borders #111111 at 16%.

## Color
- **Accent on the ground: #008049** (4.6:1), adjusted from HMS's primary #00EEAE so it stays readable. Use it for kickers, key numbers and one highlight per screen, not for large fills.
- **Primary #00EEAE** for filled shapes (buttons, chips, bars), with #000000 text on it (13.84:1).
- Secondary accent #FF6633: charts and a second data series only.
- Quote every hex exactly as written above.

## Type
- Headlines: **Poppins**. Body: **Poppins**. Both on Google Fonts.

## Shape
- Cards and panels: 5px corners. Buttons and chips: 5px.

## Voice
- Tone: professional. Energy: low. Written for patients and healthcare professionals.
- Headlines are short and concrete.
