# Design System — Lateralcare

> Read from Lateralcare's public website (lateralcare.com) by Clinical Terminal. Not reviewed by Lateralcare.
> Use it as inspiration: borrow the ideas, not Lateralcare's name, logo or identity.

## Ground
- **Light ground** (#E7F0F0), from Lateralcare's site background #E7F0F0. Pages and panels sit on it.
- Main text: #0B0B0B (16.98:1 on the ground).
- Secondary text is #0B0B0B at 88% / 76% / 60%; hairlines and plate borders #0B0B0B at 16%.

## Color
- **Accent on the ground: #3C756A** (4.59:1), adjusted from Lateralcare's primary #488176 so it stays readable. Use it for kickers, key numbers and one highlight per screen, not for large fills.
- **Primary #488176** for filled shapes (buttons, chips, bars), with #000000 text on it (4.68:1).
- Secondary accent #73CCBF: charts and a second data series only.
- Quote every hex exactly as written above.

## Type
- Headlines: **Jost**. Body: **Open Sans**. Both on Google Fonts.
- Lateralcare's site uses Futura / Open Sans; these are the closest free look-alikes.

## Shape
- Cards and panels: 5px corners. Buttons and chips: 5px.

## Voice
- Tone: professional. Energy: low. Written for patients and healthcare professionals.
- Headlines are short and concrete.
