Account Information: If you sign in with Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture URL. This is used to personalize your experience, synchronize your notes across devices, and manage your subscription.
Note Content: We collect the text, voice recordings (processed locally or via system APIs to text), and images (processed via ML Kit for OCR) that you create within the app. This content is necessary to provide note-taking, search, and AI analysis services.
Device Information: We collect your unique Device ID (Android ID) to identify your data in Guest Mode, ensure security, and facilitate syncing.
Usage Data: We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized information on app usage (e.g., features used, session frequency) to help us improve the user experience and app stability.
AI Services: We utilize OpenAI's API to provide intelligent insights. When you trigger AI features (summarize, chat, etc.), the relevant note content is sent to OpenAI for processing. This data is used solely to generate the requested output and is governed by OpenAI's API privacy policies, which generally exclude use for model training for API customers.
Cloud Storage: Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Authentication). All data is encrypted during transmission (SSL/TLS).
Payments: All financial transactions are handled securely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your credit card or bank account information.
We implement industry-standard security measures, including note-locking with PINs/Biometrics and secure cloud transmission. We use EncryptedSharedPreferences for local storage of sensitive subscription state. However, please be aware that no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can delete individual notes within the app at any time. If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data stored in our Firebase cloud, please use the "Delete Account" option if available or contact us at srinfoworld2019@gmail.com.
AI Notes is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
