WNC Craft Parties Terms and Conditions Effective Date: September 1, 2026. Business: WNC Craft Parties, doing business as WNC Craft Parties (“Instructor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) By registering for or participating in a craft party, workshop, or related event (“Event”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. 1. Registration and Payment Advance registration and full payment are required unless otherwise stated. Your registration is confirmed only after payment has been successfully received. Registration applies only to the Event, date, time, and location shown in your confirmation. Registrations may not be transferred to another Event or participant without our prior approval. Prices include the instruction and materials described in the Event listing. Food, beverages, venue purchases, and optional upgrades are not included unless expressly stated. 2. Participant Requirements Participants must be at least 21 years old. Participants must follow all instructions, safety precautions, venue policies, and applicable laws. We or the venue may refuse admission or require a participant to leave for unsafe, disruptive, threatening, intoxicated, or inappropriate behavior. No refund will be issued under those circumstances. 3. Event Timing and Late Arrivals Participants should arrive 10–15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Events generally begin promptly. Because instruction may be sequential and supplies may be prepared in advance, late arrivals may need to join the Event at its current stage. We cannot guarantee that late participants will receive individual make-up instruction or finish their projects during the scheduled Event time. Failure to attend or arriving 15 minutes late to participate is considered a no-show and is not eligible for a refund or credit. 4. Participant Cancellations Unless a different cancellation policy appears in the Event listing: - Cancellations received at least 7 calendar days before the Event are eligible for [a refund/a credit], less any stated processing fee. - Cancellations received fewer than 7 calendar days before the Event are nonrefundable because materials have been purchased and prepared. - Registration fees are nonrefundable for no-shows. At our discretion, a participant who cannot attend may transfer the registration to another eligible person by notifying us at wnccraftparties@gmail.com before the Event begins. Any approved refund will be returned through the original payment method. Payment-processing fees may be nonrefundable to the extent permitted by law and the payment provider’s policies. 5. Event Changes or Cancellation We may cancel, postpone, relocate, or modify an Event because of insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, severe weather, unsafe conditions, venue issues, supply disruptions, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If we cancel an Event and do not offer a suitable rescheduled date, registered participants will receive a refund of the amount paid to us for the Event. If an Event is rescheduled, your registration will transfer to the new date. If you cannot attend the rescheduled Event, you may request a refund or an Event credit within 5 days of receiving notice. Our responsibility is limited to the registration amount paid to us. We are not responsible for travel, lodging, childcare, food, venue purchases, lost wages, or other expenses associated with attending an Event. 6. Minimum Enrollment Events may require a minimum number of registered participants. If minimum enrollment is not reached, we may cancel or reschedule the Event in accordance with Section 5. Unless otherwise advertised, initial public Events are generally designed for approximately six to eight participants. 7. Materials and Finished Projects Materials, colors, patterns, brands, and other components may vary slightly from photographs, samples, or promotional descriptions because of availability and the handmade nature of the Event. Individual results will vary based on experience, technique, and personal choices. We do not guarantee that a participant’s finished project will exactly match the sample or another participant’s work. Participants are responsible for checking that they have collected their projects and personal belongings before leaving. We are not responsible for items left at the venue. 8. Safety and Assumption of Risk Craft activities may involve tools, scissors, needles, adhesives, paints, dyes, hot materials, small parts, natural materials, or other supplies that could cause cuts, burns, stains, allergic reactions, property damage, or other injury if used improperly. By participating, you acknowledge that craft activities involve inherent and other risks. You voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with participating, including risks arising from your own actions, another participant’s actions, the condition of the venue, and the proper use of tools and materials. You agree to: - Follow all safety instructions; - Use tools and materials only as directed; - Notify the Instructor promptly of spills, damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, or injuries; - Ask for assistance whenever you are uncertain about a technique or tool; and - Stop participating in any activity you believe you cannot perform safely. You are responsible for determining whether an Event is appropriate for your abilities and physical condition. 9. Allergies, Sensitivities, and Medical Conditions Event materials may contain or come into contact with latex, adhesives, fragrances, paints, dyes, wood, plants, fibers, metals, food ingredients, or other potential allergens or irritants. You are responsible for reviewing the Event description and contacting us before registering if you have relevant allergies, sensitivities, accessibility needs, or medical concerns. We will make reasonable efforts to provide information and discuss possible accommodations, but we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or that every requested accommodation will be available. Participants should bring any medication or emergency supplies they may require. We do not provide medical advice or medical care. 10. Alcohol and Venue Purchases Some Events may take place at breweries, wineries, restaurants, or other establishments that sell alcoholic beverages. Alcohol is not included in the Event registration unless expressly stated. Any alcohol is sold, served, and controlled exclusively by the venue or another appropriately licensed provider. The venue is responsible for checking identification, determining whether to serve a guest, and complying with applicable alcohol laws. Participants must comply with the venue’s rules and must not bring outside alcohol unless the venue expressly permits it. Participants are solely responsible for their alcohol consumption, conduct, and transportation decisions. Do not drive while impaired. Please arrange for a designated driver, rideshare, taxi, or other safe transportation when necessary. We are not responsible for alcohol service, food or beverage quality, venue charges, or a venue’s refusal to serve a participant. 11. Venue Responsibility When an Event is held at a third-party venue, the venue is an independent business and is not our employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer unless expressly stated otherwise. The venue controls its premises, accessibility, parking, food and beverage service, restrooms, and facility operations. Concerns involving those matters should be directed to the venue. We are not responsible for the venue’s acts or omissions, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded. 12. Personal Property and Damage Participants are responsible for their personal property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged belongings. Participants may be held responsible for damage they intentionally cause or cause through misuse of tools, materials, equipment, furnishings, or venue property. Craft materials may stain or damage clothing or personal belongings. Participants should dress appropriately for the activity. 13. Release and Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release and agree not to hold WNC Craft Parties, its owner, instructors, contractors, and representatives liable for claims arising from the ordinary risks of voluntary participation in an Event, including minor injuries, allergic reactions, damage to personal property, or the acts of other participants. Nothing in these Terms is intended to release any person or business from liability that cannot lawfully be waived, including liability resulting from gross negligence, willful misconduct, or intentional wrongdoing. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to an Event will not exceed the registration fee you paid directly to us for that Event. 14. Photographs and Recordings We may photograph or record portions of an Event for business documentation and promotional purposes. Before using an identifiable image or recording of you for marketing, we will request your consent through a separate photo-release option. You are not required to consent to promotional photography to participate. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify the Instructor when you arrive so that reasonable efforts can be made to honor your preference. Participants may take personal photographs unless the Instructor or venue states otherwise. Participants must respect the privacy of others and obtain permission before posting identifiable images of other guests, especially minors. Commercial photography, recording of the complete instruction, or redistribution of Event materials requires our prior written permission. 15. Intellectual Property Event designs, instructions, demonstrations, templates, handouts, written materials, photographs, videos, and teaching methods may be protected by copyright or other intellectual-property rights. Your registration grants you a limited, personal, noncommercial right to use the provided materials to complete your own project. Unless we provide written permission, you may not: - Reproduce or distribute our instructions, templates, or handouts; - Record or publish the complete class or demonstration; - Teach the project using our proprietary materials; - Sell copies of our instructional materials; or - Represent our designs or content as your own. Nothing in this section prevents you from displaying, gifting, or using the physical project you create during the Event. 16. Communications By registering, you agree to receive transactional communications concerning your registration, including confirmations, reminders, location information, safety instructions, postponements, and cancellations. Marketing emails or text messages will be sent only as permitted by applicable law and may be unsubscribed from separately. Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not prevent necessary Event-related messages. 17. Force Majeure We are not responsible for delays, changes, or inability to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, fire, utility or internet failures, government actions, public-health emergencies, labor disruptions, supply shortages, transportation interruptions, venue closures, or similar circumstances. When practical, we will offer a rescheduled Event, substitute activity, registration credit, or refund as described in these Terms. 18. Governing Law and Disputes These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact us at wnccraftparties@gmail.com and make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally. Any legal action arising from these Terms or an Event must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Henderson County, North Carolina, unless applicable law requires otherwise. 19. Severability and No Waiver If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be modified or limited only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive our right to enforce it later. 20. Entire Agreement and Changes These Terms, together with the Event listing, registration confirmation, and any separately signed agreement, constitute the entire agreement concerning your registration. If an Event listing expressly conflicts with these Terms, the Event listing controls only with respect to that specific Event. We may update these Terms periodically. The version in effect when you register will apply to your registration unless a change is required by law or you agree to the change. 21.
