Terms & Conditions — The Acorn Craft Studio

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase of tickets, participation in craft events (“Event”), and the purchase of craft kits (“Craft Kits”) offered by The Acorn Craft Studio.

By purchasing a ticket or Craft Kit, you agree—on behalf of yourself and any guests—to be bound by the following Terms.

A. Refund Policy for Event Tickets

We understand plans may change, and we aim to be flexible.
	1.	Full Refunds:
Requests made up to 7 days prior to the Event will receive a full refund.
	2.	50% Refunds:
Requests made up to 3 days prior to the Event will receive a 50% refund.
	3.	Ticket Transfers:
Tickets may be transferred to another individual. Please notify us in advance with the name and contact information of the new attendee.
	4.	Event Cancellation:
If The Acorn Craft Studio must cancel the Event, all ticket holders will receive a full refund via the original payment method.
	5.	Refund Processing:
Refunds may take up to 7 business days to appear in your account once the request has been processed.
	6.	How to Request a Refund:
Email us with your ticket number and refund request.
	7.	Exceptional Circumstances:
If you experience an extenuating circumstance, please reach out. We will do our best to accommodate you.
	8.	No-Show Policy:
No refunds are issued for no-shows without prior notice.

B. Liability Waiver

By attending any Event, you acknowledge that participation is voluntary and at your own risk. You agree to release The Acorn Craft Studio, the venue, and all affiliates from liability for injury, property damage, or loss. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the organizers, employees, and volunteers from any claims arising from your participation.

C. Code of Conduct

Attendees must behave respectfully and follow all guidelines set by the organizers and venue. Disruptive behavior may result in removal without refund.

D. Photography & Recording

By attending an Event, you consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional or archival purposes. The Acorn Craft Studio may use this media for marketing.

E. Craft Kit Purchases (Online & In-Person Orders)

These terms apply to any Craft Kit purchased online, as an Event add-on, or purchased in person at an Event.
	1.	Fulfillment Window (Online Orders):
Kits are assembled by hand. Online orders will be ready for pickup or delivery within 5 business days, unless otherwise coordinated.
	2.	Pickup at Partner Venues:
If you select pickup at a partner venue, we will deliver your kit to the venue within the fulfillment window.
You are responsible for retrieving your kit during venue operating hours. Kits not picked up within 14 days may be returned to inventory without refund.
	3.	Local Delivery:
Free delivery is offered within 5 miles of Kentlands, Gaithersburg (20878). Delivery outside this radius must be arranged and may incur a fee.
	4.	Refund Policy for Craft Kits:
Craft Kits are non-refundable once they:
	•	have been delivered,
	•	picked up at a venue or Event, or
	•	marked as ready for pickup.
Refund requests made before fulfillment may be considered at our discretion.

	5.	Kits Purchased In Person at Events:
Craft Kits purchased in person are final sale unless materials are defective.
	6.	Condition of Materials:
If your kit is missing components or arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours. We will replace defective or missing items at no additional cost.
	7.	Video Tutorial Access:
Craft Kits may include access to an online instructional video.
	•	Access is available for a limited time, which will be clearly noted on your kit instructions.
	•	Video access is for personal use only and may not be shared, redistributed, or used for group teaching without written permission.

	8.	Safety Disclaimer:
Felting tools and materials may be sharp or require careful handling. By purchasing a kit, you acknowledge that crafting involves some risk and that children under 12 must be supervised by an adult.

F. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining sections remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting or notification to customers.
