Fun, Informative and Easy to FollowBy MichaelI loved reading this book because it's full of cultural and historical foundations of Polish history and heritage. For a native Pole raised in the US, this is a valuable resource. The history sections are quite extensive and convey the birth and growth of Poland in a fine, consistent manner. Poland has a rich history which can be hard to understand in order. This book definitely makes it easy. However, the pop culture/music sections missed some of the most amazing and influential people during the 50's through 90's. Andrzej Rosiewicz? Maryla Rodowicz? Wilki?Still, worth the read and will keep you going back with great suggestions for further research.
